Outline, lazy wednesday

Today I spent my day outlining where I want my story to go. Doing this was great for me. I have been so focused on the beginning for the past few days that going ahead and planning out the future has given me great new ideas for what I want in the first part of the story/book/whatever this lifeform turns out to be. I spent a few hours doing this and I came to an interesting problem towards the end portion.

In my mind, there are two ways that I could go. I could go one way that lets me revisit things in the future with the characters/story, Or I could go another way where this story becomes more of a one-off. I think making it a one-off would be more satisfying but I don't want to lose the ability to play with my little toys(the characters) in the future. I'll have to think about this a bit more.

I'm going to spend the evening watching cooking shows and poker as I mull everything over.

I have a bunch of new ideas I also want to explore that I keep writing down, but I don't want to jump into them without finishing what I'm currently doing.

Gonna head to the cape for the next couple days and my goal is to finish out the first part(most of it at least) by the weekend and then I'll see where I am at.

In other news,

I want to see a crossover between "the fast and the furious" franchise and the "step up" franchise where the cars get into dance battles.
